Swedish seafood company Korshags Food AB has partnered with Norwegian salmon farming company Salmon Evolution, allowing its entry into the Swedish retail market.

“Korshag’s vision is to change the view of seafood and make it simpler, more accessible and tastier while never compromising our belief in healthy seas and genuine craftsmanship,” said Jörgen Bergqvist, group CEO of Ocean Collective and executive chairman of Korshags Food, in a press release.

The Korshags press release, which was translated from Swedish, states that Salmon Evolution is pioneering new farming methods in its facility and has production methods free from sea lice, antibiotics and high demands on fish welfare.

“We are very proud of this new transformative partnership which, together with our brand and innovation pipeline, will be a cornerstone of our future growth and sustainability strategy,” said Bergqvist.
